1. DATA CONTROLLER IDENTITY
The Powor application is published by Marc SAUVETERRE, a micro-entrepreneur registered under SIREN number 942 270 331, with its registered office located at 58 rue de Monceau CS 48756 75380 Paris Cedex 08, France.

Marc SAUVETERRE acts as the data controller within the meaning of the GDPR.
This Privacy Policy aims to inform users of the Powor mobile application about how their personal data is collected, processed, stored, and protected, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU 2016/679) and the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés).
As part of the use of the Powor application, the following categories of personal data may be collected and processed:
Identification data
email address;
user ID;
profile picture;
profile information provided by the user.
Location data
precise geographic location data collected via the device’s GPS, subject to the user’s consent given during registration or through their operating system settings.
This data is used in particular for displaying the user profile and enabling certain features of the application.
Sports and wellness data
data relating to workouts (exercises, weights, sets, repetitions, duration);
performance and progress tracking data;
training consistency data (streaks, goals, frequency);
morphological and physical data (weight, height);
subjective data related to perceived effort, fatigue, or intensity.
This data may be considered health data within the meaning of Article 9 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Usage data
interactions with the application;
published content (posts, comments, media);
usage statistics and technical logs.
Payment data
payments are processed exclusively by a secure third-party payment service provider (including Stripe).
Powor does not have access at any time to users’ banking details.
The personal data collected by Powor is processed for the following purposes:
creation and management of the user account;
provision and operation of the services offered by the application;
tracking of workouts and sports progress;
calculation and display of statistics, dashboards, and consistency indicators (streaks);
personalization of the user experience and displayed content;
display and management of the user profile;
management of subscriptions and payments;
continuous improvement of the application and its features;
security, fraud prevention, and compliance with legal obligations.
Powor may also offer, now or in the future, features based on automated processing or artificial intelligence tools (including workout analysis and personalized recommendations), under the conditions described in this Privacy Policy.
The personal data processing carried out by Powor is based on the following legal grounds:
performance of the contract between Powor and the user (Article 6.1.b of the GDPR);
compliance with legal obligations (Article 6.1.c of the GDPR);
Powor’s legitimate interest in ensuring the proper functioning, security, and improvement of the service (Article 6.1.f of the GDPR);
the user’s explicit consent, in particular for the processing of data that may qualify as health data within the meaning of Article 9 of the GDPR.
Acceptance of this Privacy Policy at the time of registration constitutes explicit consent to the processing of such data.
Powor uses third-party technical service providers acting as data processors within the meaning of the GDPR, including:
MongoDB Atlas: database hosting and management;
Supabase: authentication services and image storage;
Cloudflare: video content delivery and hosting, traffic security and optimization;
Stripe: payment processing.
As part of certain current or future features, Powor may also rely on service providers offering artificial intelligence services (such as OpenAI or Google), strictly in compliance with applicable regulations and with appropriate safeguards in place. These data processors act only on Powor’s instructions and are contractually bound to ensure the confidentiality and security of the processed data.
Personal data is retained for the entire duration of the active use of the user account. In the event of account deletion, the data is deleted or anonymized, unless a legal retention obligation applies or retention is necessary for evidentiary purposes (dispute, fraud). Certain technical or statistical data may be retained in anonymized form for analysis and service improvement purposes.
In accordance with the GDPR, each user has the following rights:
• right of access to their personal data;
• right to rectification or deletion;
• right to restriction of processing;
• right to object on legitimate grounds;
• right to data portability.
Powor undertakes to respond to any request to exercise these rights within a maximum period of one month, in accordance with the GDPR.

Users may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL) at www.cnil.fr.
Powor implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and security of personal data, including SSL encryption, access control, security audits, encrypted backups, and hosting within the European Union.
In the event of a personal data breach presenting a risk to users’ rights and freedoms, Powor undertakes to inform the concerned users and the CNIL in accordance with applicable regulations.
The Powor application is intended for users aged 16 or older.
Minor users declare that they use the application under the responsibility and with the authorization of their legal representative. Powor does not knowingly collect personal data relating to minors without appropriate authorization.
As part of the use of the Powor mobile application, certain technical data may be collected through the permissions and settings of the user’s device operating system (notifications, location, media access).
Powor does not use cookies in the traditional sense within the mobile application. For the web version of the service, cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the website may be used.
Certain personal data may be transferred to countries located outside the European Union, in particular in connection with the use of technical service providers or artificial intelligence services.
In such cases, Powor ensures that these transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or any other mechanism recognized as ensuring an adequate level of protection for personal data.
Powor may amend this Privacy Policy in order to adapt it to legal, regulatory, or technical developments. Users will be informed of any significant update via in-app notification or email. The most recent version is always available on this page.
